in Lancashire.
Xhogun is a 16.2hh Purebred homozygous Knabstrupper imported from Denmark
as a weanling. He will always produce offspring with some form of spotted
pattern. He is fully approved for breeding by the KNN. Xhogun had
the highest scoring performance test in the UK in 2007 and was graded with
a Premium 8 out of a possible 10. He is so far the youngest stallion
presented in the UK to pass the KNN stallion test. Xhogun was marked
highly in the Test for his rideability & willingness under saddle both
on the flat & jumping.

His sire Xanthos is the renowned leopard spotted Knabstrupper stallion
whose son Zanko, also a graded Knabstrupper stallion, won two gold medals
at the 2004 Paralympics in Athens and three gold medals at the 2007 World
Para Dressage Championships. Xanthos competed successfully in dressage in
Denmark. He has sired offspring competing at International level in
dressage and has been awarded a silver medal for his offspring.
Xhogun's dam Molager Columbine is also a graded leopard spotted
Knabstrupper and she was awarded a silver medal for her offspring. She
received an amazing two nines for her movement. She has produced three
graded stallion sons and her daughter was graded as best three year old
mare, also winning the mare riding test as a four year old. Xhogun's full
brother and sister have been exported to America and his other siblings
are to be found all over Europe.
Xhogun is a great character who likes to be involved in everything that is
going on around him. Xhogun is a substantial stallion with good bone, deep
girth and excellent straight paces. He is an eye-catching horse with a
commanding stallion presence and good work ethic. Xhogun has the typical
self confident, willing Knabstrupper temperament and he has this year
begun his training for dressage. Xhogun is DNA tested and his
parentage verified by DNA.
Mares who qualify under the Knabstrupper outcross list (e.g. Graded
Trakehner, Warmblood or Tbs) when bred to Xhogun maybe eligible to receive
full mainbook Knabstrupper papers for their offspring.
